Wang Kai has been engaged consistently in art education and practice. The artist has participated in major exhibitions and held solo exhibitions in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu and Taiwan. In addition to the monograph of the artist’s work The Work of Wang Kai, he has produced several academic articles and have been published in major academic journals. In recent years, Wang Kai’s practices covered issues of semantics, poetry and graphic language, his academic researches also fucus on the field of archaeological study, which is related to the expressive means of Eastern and Western frescoes.
